April was my very first badger sighting and had been visiting all summer. Alas the last time I saw it was 16th September and this is one of the last pictures I took. April was easy to identify as it was by far the darkest in colour and had the boldest markings of all the badgers, plus it had a ring of different coloured fur around its tail. During the summer it arrived one night with a nasty cut across its nose, fortunately it soon healed but left a distinctive scar which is visible in this picture. To begin with Blondie and April were always together but more recently they had started to be apart and one would move off if the other appeared, so I hope April left to start a new family elsewhere.

I will keep my eyes peeled just in case it comes back, Pixie disappeared for 5/6 months so anything is possible.
