I last saw Pixie in May and suddenly it was back again. I had to double check as it had totally changed colour from a patchy sandy coloured body, to now a very dark badger. On checking the pictures I could see the white exceptionally long front claws, the wide tail and of course no ears, it was definitely Pixie. This badger was on the tubby side but very small compared to all the others, but from the size of its tummy it was clearly getting enough food. Pixie was quite shy and tended to appear for a drink after the others had gone, but on the few occasions I did see it together with Patch and April they clearly seemed to know each other and there was no animosity. Where had it been for months?
