Becoming more relaxed

Blondie has taken to just sitting on the patio and chilling out
My badger visitors were becoming more tolerant of my presence, I was able to open the doors to say a few words and they did not run off at the first noise. Some were more easy going than others, Blondie seemed to take this arrangement in its stride and Patch and Truffle would sometimes just come and sit on the patio too. I was gradually working towards having all the doors open and being able to have the tv on without disturbing the visitors too much.
Blondie was definitely filling out, it had one ear hanging off when I first spotted in in April and now it had no ears whatsoever, but it still managed to look special. I had heard badgers liked eggs so I rolled one across the patio to Blondie who just looked incredulously at me and totally ignored it. What Blondie didn't want was soon taken by April, turns out Patch was also a fan of eggs. Blondie got bitten, I saw two fresh puncture wounds above its tail and I consulted with the local badger group who advised quite a common place to be injured. I was asked to keep an eye on it and watch for any signs of infection, with missing ears and now fighting it was more evidence that Blondie was likely to be male. Fortunately the bite did eventually clear up, but it took over a month to fully heal.
